Every single person that’s been following along on my blogs, thank you. Seriously, thank you so much for silently holding me accountable to write something everyday.
I’ve had a number of people reach out to me via Facebook, Email, text, phone, and I person to share with me someway this daily posting has helped them. It’s been humbling, and I’m so grateful that I can be of some sort of service to even a few people through sharing my own subjective experiences.
I’ve heard a number of different things for people, but the general feedback is that it is helping people stay present, inspired, entertained, and positive. I really couldn’t ask for much more than that.
Specifically I have heard or received in messages some of the following:
- Via email: “it’s really good!…very personal…good nuggets too, it’s a quick and brain wrinkling read…”
- In Person: “I really liked your post about making your bed every day…after reading that, I’ve been doing it…you changed my life in a little way…(I kind of scoff at this)…No seriously! I appreciated it.”
- Via Facebook: “I just wanted to let you know that I really enjoy reading your blog! It’s uplifting and a good reminder to stay in the present moment so THANK YOU!”
That kind of feedback comes from friends, family, acquaintances, and even some people I haven’t talked to in years. It’s overwhelming in the most positive way possible.
Wanting to Skip, Stop, or Give Up
I’ve definitely wanted to skip days here and there. I’ve also wanted to just totally shift my focus and start writing something else on a daily basis. My brain tells me that I’ve developed the daily discipline and already achieved my goal….but I think it’s wrong and/or lying to me.
There is this weird element to all of this that has puzzled and delighted me. Each time I have seriously considered stopping, someone that I TOTALLY would not have expected to be reading the blog reaches out to tell me that it’s helped them somehow. I guess the lesson in all of this is to just keep going. Which I will.
Seriously, thank you. For your input, your time, your energy, your love, and your presence on this fragile little planet. Every single one of you.
